My husband and I have owned Bull Terriers our whole lives. They are the most affectionate, easy going, lazy, clownish and entertaining animals! They have the patience of saints and love being with you every minute of everyday.

Health

Deafness: Deafness was noted soon after the inception of the breed. Originally it affected only white dogs, but now coloured dogs can suffer both unilateral and bilateral deafness. Originally there was no real way of testing hearing, so unknowingly breeders may have been breeding from dogs with poor or no hearing. Now there is electronic testing available, it’s called a B.A.E.R or Brain Auditory Evoked Response. Pups can be tested from 5 weeks and your puppy will be B.A.E.R tested.
